Sunday Worship

Service Info

WHEN: SUNDAYS, 10AM

WHERE: Edgewood High School Performing Arts Center
2219 Monroe Street, Madison
(Ample parking and handicapped access)

WHAT TO EXPECT: When you visit, you'll find that our worship service is both sacred and ancient, and also down-to-earth and relevant. You can expect rich liturgy and communion, accessible talks about the Bible, music ranging from hymns to bluegrass, and awesome people. Don't worry, even if you've never been to church before, you can't mess it up. You can see a sample of our bulletin, which will guide you through the service.

Children

Our Children's Ministry is called Treehouse. We have nursery for 0-2-year-olds (called Seeds), a room for age 3-5 (called Sprouts), a room for 1st-2nd grade (called Acorns) and an room for 3rd-4th grade (called Saplings).

WORSHIP FROM HOME

If you are ill and unable to attend church, we still want to provide a way for you to enter into worship in Spirit and Truth. The two great events in our Sunday service are the Ministry of the Word (where we read Scripture and respond) and the Ministry of the Table (where we share the Lord’s Supper together). Here’s how you can still participate in these ministries while worshiping from home:

Liturgy

For the Ministry of the Word, you can use our adapted Morning Prayer liturgy, which works for households or individuals.

Scripture

To find out what Scriptures the church is reading that day, you can use the Sunday Lectionary. (We're in currently in Year A.)

Eucharist

For the Ministry of the Table, you can request Eucharist delivery. Someone from our church will bring elements from the Lord’s Supper to your home, where they will serve you (in a safe way!) and pray for you.

Worship While Out of Town

If you are out town, we encourage you to go find a local congregation to join in worship. If you are looking for an ACNA parish, you can use this congregation locator tool on our denomination’s website:
