Encounter Jesus at this beautiful celebration of his resurrection and the new life he brings. We will feast together on a pancake brunch after the service, so stick around!

Easter Sunday

For Christians, today is the most important day of the year. We celebrate the fact that Jesus has risen from the dead. He’s alive! That means he is who he said he is. He has power to help us. He can forgive the terrible things we’ve done and give us eternal life.

Where would we be without Easter? If Jesus wasn’t raised from the dead, the Bible explains, “your trust in God is empty, worthless, hopeless . . . you are very foolish to keep on trusting God to save you, and you are still under condemnation for your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:14, 17). Then the Bible adds, “But the fact is that Christ did actually rise from the dead, and has become the first of millions who will come back to life again some day” (1 Corinthians 15:20).

If you follow Jesus, you have experienced one Easter already—you have been raised out of your dead, old, selfish way of living. Some day, when your heart stops beating, you will experience another Easter—you will be lifted from your grave and raised into the presence of a God who loves you.

That’s something to celebrate.
