...I was born to a couple of missionaries to Poland. They raised me to love Jesus and to follow him. As I grew up, I owned the faith they modeled for me, and I decided I wanted to follow Christ. So I asked God where he wanted me to go at each major turning point in my life. He lead me to Wheaton College where I earned a B.S. in Geology, and to Church of the Resurrection, where I fell in love with the Anglican Way.

In December 2017, I asked God to send me where he could work through me. I was reading Isaiah 6:8 with a group at church, and felt the Lord whisper "Madison" in response. (I've never had such a clear word as a direct response to prayer before!) So, I embarked on a journey of discernment, supported by friends, family and my church. Following months of praying and studying the Bible, scores of conversations, and several weekend trips to Wisconsin, I decided to accept a full-time staff position at Christ Church Madison.

I am so excited to play a role in what God is already doing in Madison, and to use the skills I’ve developed over the last four years of working at Church of the Resurrection to build up a new church.

In my role as Ministry Director I will be overseeing Sunday morning services (aside from music and preaching), children’s ministry, volunteers, communications, and administration. I will also partner with Scott (the head pastor) in pastoral care, prayer ministry and formation.

My goal is to build a sustainable ministry framework that will allow the church to thrive and grow. I have made a one-year commitment, and will discern together with Scott and Marissa about continuing on staff after this first year.

Christ Church Madison will be providing half of my salary and benefits for the 2018-2019 ministry year. I need to raise $30,000 to cover the other half, along with some one-time costs, including a laptop and training expenses.

My goal is to raise at least 80% of this by September 15th so I can start serving full-time by then.

I want to invite you to participate in the labor and celebrate the fruit together with me! Would you join my ministry team and support me as I build up Christ Church Madison this year?

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” -Isaiah 6:8 (ESV)
